It typically depends on what major you want to focus on in engineering.
But strong undergraduate engineering programs are obviously
MIT and Cal Tech
That's just off my head…there's more. And you probably know this already.

MIT, USC and Standford to mention a few. However, you really don't have to go to the best engineering school in America to be successful. It is more important to be the best student in your class in a good engineering school.
Seriously, this observation in true based on my experience because I have worked and supervised engineers who graduated from various schools in the United States.
