MIS: Spider Engineers

The spider is shown to be an engineer of great skill and versatility. There are an estimated 100,000 species of spiders. In this study four typical species are considered–the orb weaver, the bolas spider, the diving spider, the trapdoor spider.

On the surface, this 1956 film may seem like an average documentary film, but like most of films from the Moody Institute of Science, there is an ulterior motive. While revealing the complexity of nature, their films would end with Moon saying that this complexity was part of God's plan rather than evolution. Moody Institute of Science films were marketed to churches and also to public schools where today even the mention of the word "God" sparks a conflagration of protests and court cases.

Im a senior in high school working on senior project. i need help?

Im interested in Music( making rap beats and playing the piano) and drawing. I dont kno what to do as far as my senior project. what would be a good research topic and product. im thinking about a music producer or audio engineer. someone please help me ???

What about researching the concept and practice of Music Therapy and maybe ways rap has (or could be) been used in this way? Also, maybe you could look at the phenomenon of music sharing (Napster, Limewire) that exploded right alongside the Web and has been so controversial?

does audio egineers work with famouse singers?

how I'm 18 years of age my question how can work in audio engineers do have to go to school for the job how can i get involved in the field how much do you get paid when you first start out who do their work with i would like to work in the studio with music singers. is it a hard job really or is it easy. the people who do work in audio engineers please leave your email because i would like to ask questions about the job if you don't mind. ok thanks bye.

One of my good friends is an audio engineer. He didn't make much right out of school, because you have to build up your reputation as a good sound man before popular people will take you on.

He makes a great living now, has an apartment in New York and has worked with dozens of very well-known artists over the last 15 years.

Lately he has toured with Regina Spektor.

Best way to get involved is to take some classes in media. Learn how to record, and find some local bands to record for.

Do some free work to get your name around. Much if the music industry is who you know. Much of the world is about who you know. So meet lots of people and give some time away to build your reputation. Phone up local studios and ask about unpaid internships. Tell them you'll be a 'go-fer' (go get me this, go get me that, make phone calls, whatever) for the summer or weekends or weeknights or whatever works for you because you really want to be involved and maybe you'll get to see some of the behind the scenes work or be involved in some low level production.

Go to live music shows and talk to the person in the back who's running the sound board. Ask that person if they could use an apprentice. Ask if they know anyone who'd like a hard-working person for free who's quick to learn and eager to work in the business.

Offer to DJ at parties. Learn to mix the sound and tune a room.

There are lots of ways to get yourself out there and "just do it" as they say. But you'll have to do some junk work to start, I'm sure, before you earn a reputation for knowing what you're doing.

Good luck!
