Where can I find audio engineers that are willing to perform a short phone interview about their job?

I am doing a high school project required for graduation and I was wondering where I could find phone numbers or contact information for audio engineers that would be willing to perform an interview through e-mail or phone, etc. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Call your local radio and TV stations and ask them or ask to speak to their audio engineers yourself.

pursuing a Career in Audio Engineering?

I plan on pursuing a career and Audio Engineering and I'm trying to figure out which school I should go for. I'm considering going to SAE institute. I've also considered going to a four year university. So what do you guys think I should go for, a four year university or a private college? If anybody ever went to SAE institute then let me know how the program is.

Hello there. I wish I had someone telling me this when I had the same question a year ago. Anyway, I will just get straight to the point. SAE is an institute, although they offer a degree course, the bottom line is it's still an institute. In my opinion, SAE is ideal for those who focus on getting 'a' certificate within a limited time. Hence if you are interested in something more than 'a' certificate, you do not want to go to SAE. Of course in the media industry, it's all down to how well you perform but if you want to really study in a proper environment, you should look into four year universities. Hope this helped. Good luck!
