answer this is if u love music?
tell me what u think and i will give ya 10 pts.
If you want to record a music demo and cant get to a studio or cant afford one.
I thought of an idea where the studio will come to u !
I call it the STUDIO BUS. A mobile van that comes to you with a 24 track studio and vocal sound booth to record your demo!
I would charge for the studio time, additional copies of the demos, the backing music, the engineer and i would print up a CD jacket .
ALL in the studio bus!
How much should i charge?
Any advice would be appreciated!!!
Thanks

Welcome to The Studio Bus!
Parents please read this for your next childs birthday!
Kids! Do you have a birthday soon and want a great CD music demo of you singing at your party? Would you like to record it yourself? Would you like everyone at the party to go home with a CD? Wouldn't it be a good memory !
We go to weddings, proms, nursing homes, daycare, schools, sweet 16's ! Or just any event!
This is great for any age of student. It works well to enhance the music program at a school during the day or in the extended care time. Many parents love to have their children learn piano during after-school care rather than having to take them to a place after they get off work — The Music Bus is very convenient! Kids from pre-school to high school seniors are fascinated with the bus and are highly motivated to learn.
Recent research suggests young children are primed for learning. In the early years, our brains produce countless connections between nerve cells and the connections are reinforced through activity and experience. However, if we don’t use the connections often enough, the brain begins to eliminate them.
One of the greatest gifts we can give children is the love of music. Music has the power to elicit joy and happiness, and even calm us.
Hi, I’m Tommy; The President of Music Studio Bus,
I started this company to help share the joy of music with many people and to provide musical opportunities for busy families in the most convenient way possible.
As an elementary education major with more than 10years of music teaching experience, I have discovered the best types of programs to work successfully with a wide range of ages and abilities.
If you would like to discuss setting up a music program at your organization — be it a school, daycare, church or other type — please give us a email.
I say go for it cause people will buy into anything…….there are alot of dudes out there that think they can rap but dont want to spend the money on a real studio

A good way to learn theory of Music?
When I did my higher music at secondary school i got a D (a fail but just, “a posh fail” we used to call them)
I was good at my instruments but it was the theory that let me down, I didn’t really care about it much.
Now doing Sound Engineering HNC at college (equivalent of 1st year at uni) I find it a pity I never leaned the theory, even though it’s not vital I would still like to get to grips with it all.
Anything at all that could help, good websites, books, etc anything.
Thanks
'the jazz theory book' by mark levine (1-883217-04-0) is one of the most practical and comprehensive theory books I know of, but is probably a bit more than you need.
If you're looking for something a bit more classical and compact, probably the pink and blue 'ab guide to music theory' books by eric taylor. (book one covers all the basics and is a great place to start)
Some of the best musicians I know don't know a single thing about theory, scales or modes. With me, I'd read a lot about it but it wasn't after a lot of practical application that some of it finally clicked.
As a sound engineer, having a good ear is the most important thing to you, so remember to work on that too
Good luck.
What is your opinion about this music that pops in my head
I never considered a musical career and would never go into one lightly. (Im more of a math guy, engineering). But every now and then when i lay in my bed but cant sleep, like just now, I’ll have what I call a “session”. For up to forty minutes or so random styles of original music ranging from country, alternitive, to rap, even classical come waltzing into my head. It can be very fun playing with the diferent styles at no effort. It almost feels like magic or a gift. Some paterns I have noticed is that when i buy a new album or hear a new song that i like, but dont know by heart, my mind in its restfull state trys to fill in blanks. After that starts its on. Every few minutes a new riff or measure will prance in, continuing the session, and adding its own flare. Occasionally even entire lines of lyrics will be generated. Most of these songs or riffs come with its own unique vocals, usually male but I have had female vocals too. As far as musical backround I’m not fluent in any instrument but have tried many. My instructrrs almost always see promise in me but i quite before i get good. (I either got bored or was too busy or like in piano my favorite intrument I played my teacher died of cancer). But i once made a lady at my church cry because i sang a solo “so beutifuly”. I know what good music is, and I write for my school paper reviewing new albums and local bands and receive much fan mail. I have 5000 songs on my iPod (its a start). Plus im realitively goodlooking being a lifeguard and all so record companies wont say im too old (It Happens). I realy wish i could put a jack into my brain and record it all but i never remember any of it for too long. If some of these riffs were placed into songs as choruses I would be a very rich man. Im still not considering a music career but i sincerly beleive if i could somehow record this stuff exactly and mix and match to make entire songs I’d make it. Has anyone ever heard of this? Am I crazy? Too hopeful? Do you for a second trust me that alot of this stuff is good, and I mean realy good? Should I act on this at all? I have some very musically talented friends but they cant come up with anything and i might be their cure.
it must be sign that you’ll become a musician when you grow up
