After getting a bacholer in music from a college when my major was Music Recording/Technology Concentration?

what do u do after getting a bacholer in music from a college when my major was Music Recording/Technology Concentration.. i am still in high school and was considering this major..but after u get that degree what do most people do? do they open there own studio, or apply to work at ones???? how much do audio engineers usually get paid

I am a music therapy major, but I know a bunch of SRT (Sound Recording Technology) majors, so I’m gonna bullet stuff here for you:

-as for pay, I/we don’t know where it starts, or even a general salary, because it is different for so many places, but ,like in any job, it takes time to move up the ladder into higher paying positions. But, it’s recommend you get internships during breaks while you are in college. It makes getting into the workforce a ton easier.

-as for opening your own studio, it depends on your money situation. It takes a lot of money to create a studio, to build it and to get equipment. Then you have to advertise. Most people work at other places first until they get enough to start something up for themselves. BUT, you can always do side projects/live recording and stuff like that on the side with smaller equipment that is not as expensive to purchase. You can even travel with a lot of that.

-a lot of this is what you find out at college. You figure out what you like better. you might like traveling and recording, and may never want to set up a studio. You may end up wanting to teach SRT as a professor. It all depends on what your personal opinions are.

I (we) wish you good luck!

I have a patent pending booster for harvesting ice machines. How can I best market the device?

The device cuts power more than half while more than doubling ice output. Common ice machine crashes in summer do not happen. Compressor engineer off the record said life of compressor would go up 300 percent. For ice machines exhausting heat indoors there is a dramatic improvement in air conditioning load. I need to reach high up in restaurant franchises, Coca Cola, Pepsi, military, schools, and other government decision makers. I believe if you do not have a KickIce you do not have a competative ice machine. When I have spoken to ice machines reps they have been nebulous.

I would contact the company itself that make icemachines or even talk with the patent office. They can tell you the next step to take.

Engineering school?

I am 26 years old and just received my applied science associates degree. I want to go all the way and get my batchelors in Electrical or Mechanical. Back in when i was in high school i was a slacker, didnt do so well on my SAT's, my math skills were bad, and had a C GPA, i didnt even care about college. If I could go back in time i would REdo high school all over again and get top grades. But hey what's done is done. Some people just apply themselves at different point of their lives. But now im determined and driven to get my degree, i know earning an engineering degree will be a challenge but I am up for the task, Especially in physics and math (which i are my weak parts, but i am going to learn and master those subjects because they now interest me and i want to understand it) . So my question is will a 4year college look at my bad high school GPA record? or do i have to take an entrance acceptance test ? OR can i transfer with my Associate degree credits?

Ask the school you want to go to!

Record Engineering?

I am looking for a school that teaches Record Engineering while preparing you for the music world. Does anybody know any??? And I also need for that school to have some sort of payment plan for international students.
