Is the University of Notre Dame (the one in Indiana) a good school?
I think Notre Dame has an overall rank of 18 or 19 on the US News Best Colleges and UC Berkeley came 21st.
I’d like to study chemical engineering and I want to apply to UC Berkeley, but I recently got a mail from the University of Notre Dame saying I have great potential and inviting me to visit the campus.
Is it a good school? Esp. for chemical engineering?
Thanks!
First off Norte Dame is not an Ivy League as the other posted stated. UC Berkeley has a better program for what your interested in. I would still check Norte Dame’s campus out, tho. They have a good program so if you pick them, your still getting a great education. It may end up to money and location. Good Luck!
Norte Dame is an Ivy league school. It is a quality school.

Notre Dame is a great catholic university (that is not Ivy League), but for chemical engineering, Berkeley is top-notch…. rated in the top 5 nationally in most all reports.
